velofix Supporting Phil Gaimon’s Malibu Gran Cookie Dough

Love riding, but love chocolate chip cookies even more? So does Cannondale Drapac pro cyclist Phil Gaimon, host of the inaugural Malibu Gran Cookie Dough on November 6th – the latest world-class event on a busy 2016 calendar that velofix is proud to be supporting. So proud in fact, our friends at the fondo have extended a special $10 discount if you register and use with the code velofix.

“My two favorite things are climbing mountains and eating cookies,” says Gaimon. “And thanks to the beauty of Malibu and the taste of Jeff Mahin’s M Street Kitchen, I’m proud to offer you the very best of both.”

For anyone looking to sample Malibu’s incredible riding and the M Street Kitchen’s equally renowned sweets, velofix will be unboxing, building and tuning bikes to ensure that anyone tackling one of Phil’s three challenging ‘fondo routes have nothing to worry about – except for the Sycamore dirt climb at mile 103 on the Double Fudge Route. Thankfully there’ll be delicious baked goods at the top of every climb to ease the sting in your legs, and velofix mechanics at the finish line to wash and carefully pack your bike for a safe journey home.

So if a day in the life of Phil Gaimon – y’know, the great riding, cookies around every corner, and a world-class mechanic at beck and call – all sound like your idea of a perfect day, you can register for the Malibu Gran Cookie Dough here. And don’t forget to use velofix to schedule your build, tune or breakdown appointment on ride day – we’ll see you out there.
